Professional Home Inspector resources and public information for homeowners.

Formally CAHPI Alberta, the Alberta Professional Home Inspectors Society - APHIS is a an Alberta association that represents the interests and concerns of professional home inspectors. Our name might be new but our history goes back to 1992 when a group of inspectors came together and organized as a chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). There have been other names along the way, (CAHI, CAHPI) but the goal and the focus have not changed.

The Alberta Professional Home Inspectors Society (APHIS) is a non-profit organization focused on being the voice for the home inspection profession. Our members are committed to providing consumers with the highest level of service possible. By being members of APHIS they have demonstrated this commitment to excellence. Membership qualifications include an examination and peer evaluations, as well as continuing education for each inspector.

Our association works to maintain and improve the standard of education and skill level of inspectors through our programs, educational seminars, advocacy, and representation to government agencies.
